Approach
I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner- Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) who provides mental health service by focusing on the treatment and medication management of individuals who struggle with the day to day challenges of mental health disorders. My goal is treat those under served in the mental health community, such as eating disorders, disordered eating, body dysmorphia, borderline personality disorder and borderline traits.
As someone with personal experience of having an eating disorder and BPD I know how hard it is to find providers understanding of the unique challenges faced by the population. I strive to make sure my patients are heard, and work with them to help get them the proper medication and treatment.
Eating disorders can be deadly at any weight.
With proper treatment most individuals with BPD will show no symptoms within 5 years.

My goal is to focus on individual symptoms and give a person centered approach.

I treat individuals 8 years and older. Although the practice is founded on the treatment of eating disorders and BPD I have experience in treating a wide variety of other mental health conditions and challenges, and treat these conditions within my practice.
